Self-Help Through Writing> Submissions.
-- “Self-Help Through Writer Submission” must be quoted in the subject line of all emails.
-- We accept Articles, Blogs and Poetry only; there is no specific word count.
-- Please send work as an attachment, rather than within the body of the email (File type: rtf or doc. only). You can request your work to be submitted annoymously; however, if you want your name included, please be sure to include your surname, a close-up photograph, and a short bio (no more than four-five lines on A4).
-- Although we do encourage individualist expression, we do not welcome articles/blogs/poetry that seeks to condemn and subordinate others; i.e. hatred for an opposite sex, race, etc. When writing an article for our consideration, remember that you are writing for others, as well as yourself; attempt to share your experiences in a positive manner. Even if you feel like you can’t do this, and lack knowledge on a particular subject, provoke a debate; invite others into your experience, in an attempt to achieve a greater understanding.
-- Once your work is received, the editor may suggest slight improvements to increase its readability. Please do not be offended by this.
-- Depending on other commitments, you can expect a response within two weeks.
