Dude, this poetry is amazing. I detect notes of Philip Larkin in 'Homage to the Sluts', but your overriding sense of post-modern irony far outstrips his. I think my favourite phrase was 'Darwinian Whore-O-Saur': it's just SO evocative. I found the fantastically-titled 'Gorilla Pimp' very stimulating, also!

My idea that this would be a collection of erotic poetry that would leave me feeling horny has been totally obliterated.
I found the first two poems quite self indulgent and fanciful. But 'Penis Envy' is really thought provoking, and definitely something to which I can relate. The challenging subject matter which appears on the surface required me to read, re-read, and read again. It's just too easy to waste time pandering to the male gaze.
I have really loved the brutal honesty of reading about a sexual journey from a male perspective. 'White Mass' is especially humorous. We are but human....and it's made me think.
