(This review contains spoilers. You have been warned.)
Trim the violence down to a 15 certificate to make it more audience-friendly, throw a WWE superstar and couple of lame sidekicks into the mix -- one of which is Ryan Reynolds, who gets my vote for being the most annoyingly-unfunny character on screen, probably ever -- and you have Blade Trinity: Pretentiously messy and damn right frustrating.
Let's not forget, also, the director/screenwriter's decision to kill off the fan-favourite Whistler very early on and with absolutely no remorse (who the hell does David Goyer think he is?)
The only ever so slightly redeeming feature of this film is Dominic Purcell as “Dracula”; though even then his character is shamefully underwritten.
