This volume of socio-political poetry examines and opposes the varieties of fascism and outright racism in Britain by writer-turned-activist Andy Carrington.
Through straightforward language and personal honesty, he notes experiences debating with casual racists in the workplace and online, as well as physically opposing the likes of the BNP and English Defence League in the street.
Arguing in support of minority groups, the reactions of the media, religious groups and casual pub goers to cultural divide and integration are also mentioned.
As is the struggle of the recent recession that has led to many people – particularly from working-class communities -- sympathising with and/or joining extreme far-right organisations.
